What is TAB?

Transportation Advisory Board

The Transportation Advisory Board serves as the advisory board for the Western Piedmont Regional Transit Authority; dba, Greenway Public Transportation. The board serves as a community liaison to the WPRTA Board of Directors. The board shall consult, advise and make recommendations in matters affecting service design, service scheduling, service fares, unmet needs in the service area, marketing, and performance measures.


The Transportation Advisory Board shall be appointed by the WPRTA Board of Directors.

Transportation Advisory Board meetings are quarterly. All meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month to start at 2pm. Meetings are held in Greenway's Conference Room at 1515 4th St SW Conover, NC 28613, unless noted otherwise.
